The Stags Head… your community pub.

Everyone at Thornbridge are delighted to have been running The Stags Head for over a year now, in which time there have been some great changes and improvements. The pub has a fabulous traditional, cosy feel and some great outdoor areas for all the family to enjoy, including the kid’s playground.

Regular music event are helds, including acoustic nights on the first Wednesday and folk sessions on the last Thursday, of every month.

Here at The Wick we love to host parties, whether it’s a small intimate gathering or huge celebration. We can cater for parties as small as 2 to as large as 150 and venue hire is free!

Our talented chefs can design a buffet menu to suit your needs, or guests can decide from our seasonal in house menu. We also offer a variety of cocktail masterclasses, if you and your party want to learn how to shake it, a la Tom Cruise in Cocktail.

We're just a few small steps from the madding crowds of West Street, you'll find us in the former works of WE Harrisons Steeplejacks (of Nelson Column fame no less), bedecked in purple.

We have a great range of wines, cocktails, ales and beers from across the globe. Our ales are provided by the local lads of Abbeydale Brewery, and we have on draft a tip top range of world beers - Peroni, Erdinger, Brooklyn Lager and Pilsner Urquell. Our range of bottled beers is even more extensive... Tusker, Vedett, Duvel, Leffe and Hoegaarden to name a few.

Burton's Restaurant & Function Suite is a charitable organisation owned by the Burton Street Foundation. 100% of our profits are ploughed back into the organisation to support its on going work in the local community.

Burton Hall is a versatile Function Suite, which can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests for a sit down meal, with capacity for an additional 40 guests for a buffet. Burton Hall is an ideal venue for christenings, weddings and funerals as well as for larger training courses, conferences and parties.

The Arena provides an excellent venue for all family occasions; set in the surroundings of Hillsborough Park we have facilities for parties of 60-250 people with a fully licensed bar and free private car park

We can help you plan any occasion, from birthday parties and wedding receptions to anniversaries, Christmas parties and business social functions.

Hillsborough Arena offers a wide range of buffet options. Our in house catering team can also offer an individually designed service to suit all budgets and dietary needs.

Situated in the Dronfield Arms public house, the restaurant is downstairs below the pub. A large car park is situated to the rear of the pub off Mill Lane.

Our restaurant is available for private hire any day of the week. It is the perfect place to hold a private party for your special occasion. We can also cater for business meetings, lunches or company events/parties. Outside catering is also a speciality.

Capacity is 32 for a sit down meal, or 70 for buffet etc
