The REP At Birmingham

The Birmingham REP has opened post-refurbishment in September alongside the newly built Birmingham Library creating an iconic combination of venues in Centenary Square adjacent to the ICC. The modern building has great diversity of space and a unique dramatic twist for conference and event planners to host their events in one of Birmingham’s newest venues.

Born to Perform

The REP is renowned for its programme of theatrical events year round, however in the refurbishment the designers created quirky, versatile space to host meetings, conferences, networking events and exhibitions.

There is a choice of 3 auditoriums with all the technology required to stage your conference with the largest seating 825 delegates; the smaller theatres have retractable seating providing you with a blank canvas to stage team building events, totally themed dinners and with ground floor access, cars can be driven into the staging areas to create you private production. What’s great about utilising the main theatres is due to their design, large production sets and themes can be easily accommodated with space backstage space for your production company.

There are three further purpose built conference rooms seating up to 200 delegates and two quirky meeting rooms. All have natural daylight, the latest audio visual facilities stunning views over Centenary Square and transform from meeting space in the day to intimate banqueting space in the evening creating the scene for a perfectly rehearsed event.

Spacious Networking Space

The Mezzanine floor is an airy space with high ceilings, theatrical backdrops and is flooded with natural daylight; it is a great venue to host informal networking events, informal exhibition space or to utilise for private receptions before theatre performances or heading in to you own private event.

Dining with added drama

The Centenary Bar and Brasserie on the ground floor is open throughout the day, with menus utilising local produce from artisan suppliers in Warwickshire, Shropshire and Gloucestershire supporting the community and demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.

There is a selection of private dining rooms for 10 to 150 guests for banqueting but for the event planner looking for a theatrical dining experience, then you need to speak to the events team; A red carpet welcome for your guests, Act One - a private back stage tour and talks of the 100 year history of the theatre, Act Two – Drinks Reception on the Mezzanine Floor, Act Three – dinner served ‘onstage’ with your choice of theatrical backdrop to theme your event with a unique twist.
