The Old Finsbury Town Hall is a stunning Grade II* listed building, registered with English Heritage as a building of great historical significance.

As well as providing an exquisite setting, the venue has another purpose in mind. All profits generated from events held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall go towards bursaries for the talented at performing arts school, the Urdang Academy. Now that really is sharing the love!
The Urdang Academy lovingly restored the building in 2007 honouring its rich heritage, now the Old Finsbury Town Hall can host banquets and events again, continuing a hundred year tradition. Events held at The Old Finsbury Town Hall lay the foundation for nurturing exceptional students. The profit generated bursaries have supported talented students, many of whom are currently performing in the West End, No. 1 Tours around the UK and internationally, as well as on TV in leading shows such as X-Factor and So You Think You Can Dance.
The Old Finsbury Town hall has a number of licensed rooms for hire, which offer flexibility for different sized groups, and the building is fully accessible for wheelchair users. You also have the freedom to arrange your own catering and drinks if you wish.
To ensure the smooth running of each event, an experienced House Manger is always on hand, together with a cloakroom attendant and two security guards. Of course, any additional staff can be hired if required for your event.
Event Spaces
Great Hall (280 standing / 200 banqueting or theatre) - The most notable achievement by talented architect Charles Evans-Vaughn; the stunning Great Hall is a large space with sumptuous proportions.
Council Chamber (100 standing / 60 banqueting / 120+ reception drinks) - This elegant, mahogany panelled room has a domed ceiling and delicate lighting, situated adjacent to the Great Hall.
