Adam & Eve At Birmingham

The Adam & Eve boasts a long history of diverse and exciting entertainment ranging from intimate acoustic gigs to full blown festivals situated in the street. The warm friendly atmosphere is exemplified everyday during Happy Hour where the drinks are cheap and the pool table is free, making it ideal for the post work wind down or the pre night out drinking spot.

Since opening in 1990, A+E has played host to some of the biggest acts coming out of Birmingham as well as international touring acts including The Twang, GBH, Howard Marks, Peace, Akil The MC (Jurassic 5), DJ First Rate (Scratch Perverts), Troumaca, Zion Train, Dub Mafia, 360, Cracked Actors, Steve Gibbons, Troumaca, Martelo, Sticky, Tantrums, Jodi Ann Bickley and Tempting Rosie.

In recent years, A+E has gained a reputation as an intimate club space with the venue packed out every Saturday with The Afterparty, placing it firmly on the map as the optimum destination for those who don’t want the party to end. Weekends are packed with an eclectic mix of nights , previously playing host to Surreal (House), Pub Tropicana (dancehall, reggae, moombahton), Whomanity (reggae, roots, dub), Liquid Sessions (DnB), Come Together (Britpop, 60′s), Troumaca x Friends (Band run clubnight with forward thinking DJ sets) as well as impromptu afterparties for nights such as Shadow City and Gutter Skank.

Aside from all the gigs and clubnights packed into the venue, sometimes we go big with our plans and close the street for summer street parties including the annual Brum Punx Picnic and the hugely successful charity event Scooterists For Heroes, with even more planned for next year.
